- affordable, lightweight, durable, nice colors, smooth, responsive buttons, types fast.

- long lasting battery, 3-4 days of light-moderate use (text and short calls), engaging games.

Cons:

- SIM non hot-swappable.

- classic inbox, threaded messaging unavailable.

- stock OS version is faulty*, upgrading to v6.65 is required.

This phone is best for:

-basic calls and texts, types so easily you almost won't look for a qwerty keyboard.

-quick music fix in case your smartphone died on you just pop your microSD in.

-people who lose phones all the time due to petty criminals or sloppiness.

*Immediately have phone checked by Nokia Care as soon as the following events occur:
-phone restarts automatically, usually during SMS typing or sending.
-switches to loudspeaker upon answer of phone call.
-hangs when SIM Toolkit is busy and an SMS is sent and another is being received all at the same time.
-one SIM indicates "No SIM Card" or no signal at all for one network, sometimes both.

There are things in life that always come back to my mind, slipping as a short daydream as I think of my daily routine and errands. It's a detailed memory of what it once was, an important even where key-point where I had to make a choice, and as I think about it I imagine how it could have been. It's quite interesting to know but this makes me sad, and sadness should not ever be acknowledged in my vocabulary. For the past, No Regrets, for the future, Less Expectations, do this and anyone is bound for happiness, that's for sure! No Regrets = happier 2012!

Nokia Asha 300 Spotted! Updated!

Sitting next to Nokia Asha 303 is the Nokia Asha 300, black colored right at the corner and doesn't want to get noticed so easily.

No announcements on the glass panes, no price tags, even the store assistant doesn't know the price so he asked his manager and what I heard, somewhere around 11-14 thousand, I know they're probably referring to a different device otherwise they got it ALL WRONG. Anyway, at the specs given this should fall anywhere near Nokia 500. Looks like this will be hitting January 2012 as well.

Nokia Asha 300 has 2.4" touchscreen, no Wi-Fi, standard keypad! Priced 85 Euros..
Whilst the Asha 303 has Wi-Fi, 2.6" touchscreen, Qwerty keyboard! But around 145 Euros! (P6450)
303 should be more expensive! This store got it completely wrong! Do buy this at your local Nokia Store instead once available very soon.

Last Year's resolutions was great, did them all, I did spend more time with family with all the eat outs and treats and concert going, eat healthier and maintained by goal weight of 160-165 lbs. and got my push ups a bit stronger now for 2012.. 1st resolution of the year:

Honesty:

I'm a player! It's so cool yet so sad because I tend to hurt the feelings of others all the time. I'm so naughty as well! Temptations never stop! Now I must realize that I do not need to prove it so by giving in to these temptations. I must be content for who I am, just let them pass and move on. Now...I must also express what I feel, that if something I must declare it asap so as not to give false hopes. This is gearing towards being a better person and not let my alter ego take over my life. I must also realize that the kind of relationship that I want is one in a million that i'd rather be single than give in to something that's sub-par. It takes time and that I can wait than rush it in only to lose something just as quick.

This is during the peak hours of the day where Smart, Globe and Sun usually crawl, wi-tribe soars super blazing fast I love this EVEN MORE! Excellent decision to switch! Yeah!

This is 2mbps, where it may not be anywhere near the theoretical speed, at least it's not disconnecting or crawling at all!

Edit: After a few weeks of testing, here's at the best of times for 2Mbps limit

I don't care if your rates are cheaper, ever since the merge with SMART, your speeds went downhill, like watching Super Junior's and 2NE1's MAMA 2011 performances in YouTube at 720p, at Sun it will take 2 hours, whilst at Globe is less than 34 minutes.

It's been 2 years of extreme wear and tear so it's time for a new pair! 100 Days To Heaven Finale

The very first 5 episodes of "100 Days To Heaven" still fresh in my mind, i knew the series will be interesting and something to watch for. Gladly there's the internet and I was able to catch the finale. Touching, everything made sense, great ending, wonderful story! I cried, alot, almost as much as A Walk To Remember, I cried alot in "May Bukas Pa" as well.

I'm glad I watched the show and I will surely mis each and every single bit of it. To ABS-CBN, props for my wet shirt soaked in tears, please keep bringing series like this once in a while, once a year perhaps.

I was just texting in the men's room one morning after work and i was infront of the sink area with a large mirror. On my right side is a twink, i don't know why he's standing there and moments later 2 other guys went in. One of them went to pee, the other stood on my left, i looked and he seems fil-am, wearing a sleeveless back shirt and pants, but I can't tell exactly who that is coz he's wearing shades. Moments later he took the shades off and he's pinoy but a so-so asian/filipino face a nice gym-fit body. He's just staring at the mirror while i'm texting and then moments later i found out he's there to change shirts, his companion is done peeing and stood behind waiting for him and then he took his shirt off and revealed his white pinoy body so jaw droppingly hot my eyes can't believe what i just have on my side at the moment. No straight guy will not flick if one sees it! White skin, perfect shape and tone, nice pecs, arms, abs everything and skin like he came from a sauna. He then took some more moments staring at his body and i can feel my brain will short-circuit if i stare and stay at that point any longer so before I do something stupid (like make some "mmm" sounds) i quickly stepped out of the restroom leaving the 2 dudes and the twink inside. Soon as I got out i feel air flowing through my lungs lol. I still can't believe it.

Dell Streak Price Drops to Php 20.5k!

Word is out, the streak as ended. This prompted local Philippine retailers to slash 7,000+ off the original price of Dell Streak from it's 27k levels. Now it's down to just 20+, aggressively competing against it's barely 4" screen smart-phones; maybe 3,000 php lower and i'd reconsider. The device is too wide for a pocket, and too small for a tablet, hence the death but at the attractive price, people may reconsider.

Happy With Sun Broadband

I haven't posted anything about broadbands lately as I am quite happy with what I have right now!

At any point of the day, anytime I need, speeds i'm happy with, tasks finished at the fraction of the cost versus ~~cappy~~ crappy competitors, finally Sun improved! Absolutely feels like no limits! Sun deserves my hard earned money.

I also random speedtest at out area near TriNoma in Quezon City, Sun's Prepaid broadband is at theoretical speed of 3Mbps. Actually, this feels like at burst speeds only as this rarely happens but the service overall is good. No frills, fast, reliable, cost-effective service! Unless I left it at zero activity for a long period of time, that's the time it disconnects on it's own, makes sense? Who cares about how higher the theoretical speeds by others if they will limit your browsing or downsize your speed limit, This is, as long as it feels like there's no cap or limits, and it's fast. I'm here to support and stay! That's all!

Now I'm still hesitant to sign up to their postpaid plan. Last time I checked their Sim Only @ 999 will cost me one time initial payment of Php1,600, just for a sim (dongle not included!). What? No way! I'm sticking with prepaid. My favorite is Php300, 48 hours usage that will last you 10 days. I hope they''ll come up with prepaid cards something that lasts for 15 or 30 days.

Zen Tea, specialty store serves Nai Cha and is bestseller for one reason, the taste (and the price). Props for creating a deluxe option and then we have the serious Nai Cha that tastes like one! (step aside Chowking! and your cheap gelatin).

The Deluxe Nai-Cha called "Autumn" for just 10 pesos more than your regular serving, hunky dude adds "Oak Jelly" and vanilla to the mix, replaces the blank taste of sugar into creamy yummy vanilla with the jelly cuts floating in the middle just below the Ice enhances the chewiness of the luscious black pearls swimming at the bottom of each cup. Although the drink is good as it is, a touch of thickness could make the best Nai Cha there is. Every sip, like a perfect iced tea, brings a 3-way balance of bitter black tea taste with the sweet and creamy vanilla mix in every tall ice topped serve.

Mga 1 month after napag alaman nila na ang mga gumagamit ng IE eh in average mas mahina kesa sa mga nag Safari, Firefox or Chrome etc! Pero yung mga gumagamit ng IE8 at chrome-plugins eh medyo nakaka-lamang ng konti sa lahat pero hindi nalalayo sa mga gumagamit ng IE!

What they concluded is that, people with low IQ choose not to upgrade their browsers! This fact also made it difficult for developers to make websites load ok in IE as most are using versions that is incompatible with web standards. Exciting! I can see a retaliation from Microsoft any moment now.

Other mainstream restaurants shove salt like sand in a construction site, but this is just a little pinch, I truly like, not salty! Large cut slices similar to KFC but longer in length makes a big difference in taste, pure potato munch. The Big Dome, arrived 6:50PM with mom barely an hour before the show starts. So excited! So many people attended. All we have are cameras, phones, calls and texts here and there. Lightsticks @ 150 Pesos are also sold, along with popcorn, hotdogs, binoculars etc.

The lightsticks, prettiest sight inside a concert venue ever. Everytime the dome goes dark, lightsticks come to life, the colors are just heaven to look at as people wave them to the beat.

Ambulance/Emergency lights and sounds are seen/heard sign that 2NE1 is next and fans just screamed to the highest level. I didn't fail to shout my hardest as well. 2 minutes in people took a breathing and bom! The intro video played and the people went wild again and right after the clip, "Fire" plays and the girls appeared and the loudest screams i heard and gave ever! It was simply amazing and mind-blowing intro, as if Araneta will explode and the energy of the atmosphere has reached it's peak! They performed "Fire" as how it's done. I noticed they used the original MR version instead of the live MR they used before.

They also performed "Go Away", mighty duo Minzy & CL did "Please Don't Go", Dara went solo with her single "In Or Out", then "Lonely" they went for a short pause then "Cant Nobody (Korean Version)" again the energy was phenomenal it as an amazing night, "Clap Your Hands" then "I Don't Care".

No Change costumes, same outfit as how they promoted the Mini Album. There's also Pyrotechnics at several points of the show. Confetti showered the concert hall and mini balloons fell sign that it's the end of the show right after "I Don't Care". Dara said that we (Philippine Promoters) should invite them again so they'll come back and I'm sure they will.

At the end the people shouted More! But it's not a full concert, rather a mini concert, i read this 3 days ago so i am expecting at least 5 songs and I got what I want and more! All worth it! I hope they come back. It's a great experience for me as I am a blackjack!

First I watched this yesterday, It was long! I think that's the summarized version of the past week's episodes but i'm not sure. It's storyline is something to watch for, and the story itself is very flexible and anything can be done to boost/enhance the story to your liking. Seamless mix of fantasy and reality will really draw in audiences from all ages! Props for the medium to good acting from all actors seasoned and newbies, you can tell that very few takes we're done to each scene, more like a compliment as it sprinkles a touch of raw-edge to it. And as i predicted, ratings are sky high! No wonder!

The show targets a huge chunk of the tv watching people and it's really interesting i'll try to watch this each and every time! It's just that, i'll also watch this as soon as this certain actor is still alive in the story...he's Jopet or Neil Coleta! A fine, young sample of a chinito! Good gracious life this is OMG!

See, kahit naiinitan at pinapawisan, one smile grabe parang may invisible force field that's drawing you in and near and wanting to obey woop woop! LOL!

Entire serve cost around Php 356.00, almost half chicken, 2 side dish, a fruit desert, 4 heaps of rice and bowls of gravy made for a great lunch date! Warm filling meal served instantly!

The chicken, the best fried/broiled whatever, i can't tell if it's turbo-broiled, done thru the rotisserie or what, but i can tell it's juicy, oily, warm, tasty, crunchy, chewy, soft and delicious! All worth it! No wonder they lasted for decades now, they deserve my next visit!

A year ago I purchased a pair of Creative EP-630 due to high praises from sound quality critics or self-proclaimed audiophiles on the internet. It's 1499 in Philippine Pesos back then. But 7 months after I lost (Stolen) my buds along with my Creative Zen Mosaic. I couldn't use my player for 2 weeks now because my Creative Ep-430 is broken and my other buds lost it's foamy grip and won't stay put on my ears! But it's once again available at local Electroworld in CyberZone at The Annex @ SM City North EDSA! 3 pairs on display, 2 whites and 1 black, I bought the white one so two are left. I purchased a black one last year so I chose a white one this year.

I Still love it! Sounds Superb! Priced @ Php 1495, down my 4 pesos from last year lol.

Australia & Philippines at the 2011 Pyromusical

It was the best night ever, not that my bet Australia lost or I didn't see China who won and that my guess Japan as 2nd runner up and U.K. as first runner up was right, it's my mom, she was with me at the final show of the brightest most spectacular light show of the year! And the best part of it is that, we bonded together, ate at French Baker, and went home while sitting in the traffic for 2 hours! It was all worth it!

Alot of people came, huge groups of friends, families from all ages and all walks of life, even the disabled ones went out of their houses to see the show! And the best of all, it's ok if the Philippines didn't join, it's because they would have a landslide win against all countries! The music, and the surprising fireworks we are just the best! Kudos!

I will be waiting for next year!

Game so addicting! No wonder it's also one of the best iPad games of 2010! I checked out the PC version and I did not stop playing! I even sacrificed some sleeping hours just to continue! Been playing it for 3 days and later I'm about to finish it!

Pros:

Great Animation/effects/design
Physics and Construction has never been this fun.

I walked into a BDO Atm this morning, put my card in, withdrawn 400 Philippine Pesos like how I always do, after 5 minutes no cash came out! Pissed! I withdrawn again and it's clear, I lost 400 pesos credit upon checking my balance. Called up BDO customer service, asked me a ton of security questions in which I answered them all perfectly, gave me a reference number and said it will take them 5 days? What?! Good thing it's payday so I won't ask for her supervisor but BDO cannot be trusted with faulty ATMs and Bad service overall!

I did not do anything wrong, it's their ATMs that's faulty, screw BDO, this never happened with BPI, I miss them so much, in fact, I will revive my dead account with them and transfer my funds there asap!

I Missed The Fireworks Show!

I went there last week to see the show, greatest of all ever, but I missed it because of my mom! I hated her at the first few moments upon waking up so late, past the showtime.

Earlier that morning I went shopping for new and quality speakers for my mom, walked the mall and got so tired and having been from work earlier that day adds more to it. When I got home mom liked the speakers, so much! And then I set my alarm at 5PM. I woke up 8:30PM but the show starts at 7PM! Mom is hearing the alarms going off, 5x! But it didn't even wake me up. She didn't wake me up.

At first you'll get pissed at it, but if you look closer, she noticed i was in a very deep sleep, no sound from the street, people or alarm clocks would wake me up and she didn't wake me up, because we're supposed to go to the show together, she didn't wake me up! Like i'd rather rest the day than wake up on time and she the show but having only 2 hours of sleep, because of that I had 5 hours straight sleep. I love you mom!

My body hurts because of all the walking the TriNoma looking for the best 2.1ch speaker system that has passable sound quality, good build, known brand, loud volume at a budget, I stumbled upon Xenon. First I was eying for their XPro series but I find them too bulky for house use, so I tested these, sales lady @ Western Marketing was very helpful, thus a sale for her, I was even accompanied to the taxi area.

These set are heavy to carry, meaning quality materials are used. They sound like PC Speakers meets Professional-Karaoke speakers for home use. If you're looking for an upgrade to your pc speakers with clear and loud (really loud) volume requirements that won't break your bank, this is it!

Pros:

Loud Sound coming @ 3200 Watts.
Engaging Bass Booms and passable stereo imaging.
Refined and clear sounds at highest volumes.

Cons:

Lacking boost at highs at high volumes.
Connectivity only allows one working aux input at every moment.
Included stand feels plasticly or poor build, may easily break.

Purchased Gold Tickets, show started 45 minutes past 8PM, fantastic, outstanding, spectacular! I'll be coming back for more! These countries really tied it, dunno who's better. I remember Portugal using Bon Jovi's "Bed of Roses" and U.K. using Katy Perry's "Fireworks". I also took a video on my phone. Shooting a video and taking pictures while watching a show live is too much work, i'm taking a tripod.

Yep, that's how broke I am, simply because of too much spending and excessive Taxi Cabs, anyway. How will I budget 500 pesos in 4 days? That's fri, sat, sun & mon?

-No Call&Text promos, do not reply/call unless it's an emergency.

-No Taxi Cabs, take the MRT to work, if possible, walk instead of another ride to the office!

-No Fastfood restaurants, bare home made meals or instant processed foods in the mean time.

-No Haircut! It's Valentine's Day lol i'm sure my date will appreciate some over the top hairwax.

-Use 1day unlimited internet, i can't live without internet, i must use unlimited! (Sun Cellular)

-Crackers and water whenever hungry! Filling and cost effective!

-Sleep, if there's more time, sleep all that away.

Everyone in the tech-world is ganging up on all things Nokia. From their latest releases, future ones and plans, OS, camera, UI, Meego, Quarter Profits, CEO responses everything, endless usage of "suck", "crap" being connected to NOKIA and I am sick of it. Nokia delivers devices excellently no? Why hating?

Yes things have changed, latest phones feels outdated but they all have to realize that their devices' durability is unmatched and more than capable of doing what each is intended to. My love for NOKIA won't change but I have to admit, there are a lot of HTC, Motorola, Samsung, LG and SE devices that are extremely tempting and of course the prices is eye-popping as well.

I'm looking forward on how MeeGo should shape things up, i'm not yet a NOKIA fan-boy, just saying, people should just lay-off and live!

Finally, My New Nokia X2-01

Quickly rushed to nearby Nokia Store at TriNoma, from house to the store in 20 minutes, screw traffic! Priced at exactly P3,945! Includes a 2GB micro-SD. And it's actually on a 1-day sale that slashed price down P1,000, meaning it's normally P4,945!

Since it's announcement, I've been eying this device, and has been balancing thoughts if I can life without WiFi or 3G or it's VGA camera. I don't need high-res pics as I now have a Nikon and a Fujifilm Finepix s1600 digital camera. I don't need WiFi really, I get updates from Globe if I get a wall post, reply or private messages. It has EDGE that should be just fine I think. I hated Nokia C3's design and interface and I heard bad feedbacks from it's WiFi. The new touch and type phones are too expensive for their abilities and the C1 releases are just too simple. I can't compromise for other brands so Nokia X2-01 it is.

Excellent build quality! Nice pics for a VGA camera. I need more time to try it's features but so far I am loving each and every minute of it in my hands! I love it! Better loudspeaker. Sometimes the screen lags and it actually rebooted by itself when I updated the time settings. I sold my Nokia 2330c-2 for P1,450 and used the money to pay less on this device. Seriously, it's way too expensive for the feature set. But the form factor, Qwerty keypad and Conversational SMS really worth every peso!

Avoid Having ATM Card Captured

BDO sucks! I know, from lost credits to faulty machines and the uber long lines and always offline or no cash! Usually there's nothing we can do but suffer as our company uses only BDO for delivering salaries. Recently, my card got captured. Because I pushed the ATM to the slot while the system is halfway to detect that my card is in the opening so it could pull it in for scanning. So my card stayed inside and the ATM system did not detect my card leaving it there! I was told that this error could let your card sit inside for 10-30 minutes! Will eat up alot of your time specially if you're in a hurry! And gonna get you really frustrated, so from now on...

Slowly push the card half-way to 2/3 until the mechanism detects the card then if you sense movement, stop pushing and let the ATM pull the card in. Relief!
Of course you have to follow the usuals like don't make pin mistakes too much, or check your atm balances soo many times in a day etc.

I loved this phone upon knowing it's qwerty from the specs it's gonna be cheap, unfortunately, it's priced higher than I expect and that's already slashed by P1,000! Will sell for P3,590 in 97 Nokia stores nationwide! January 29, 2011!

We just have to sweat all the weight gained this season, hit the gym or better yet, make a home gym, just some basic tool will help you get in shape, and if you search the right routine, you don't even need an equipment, just your own weight and a proper workout is enough! Loose 5 lbs while gaining muscle yeah!

What the F! So I connect, waited then it gets authenticated, i open a site, it loads, it's fast then after a few seconds it stops loading, I read, after reading I find an interesting link, I click, and it showed an error message! I got disconnected, so i connect again, I did this for like 5-10x in 10 minutes! What the F!

I'm tired of clicking connect, connect, connect! Why Globe Tattoo? Why? Is 50 pesos not enough for you? Swear, Increase your cap to 2GB @ 100 pesos that lasts for 2 days I swear i won't complain. It's ricidulous! 50 pesos per day, that's like 1500/month! And it's nowhere near that service! Always disconnects! Fudge! Fix this!!!
